The Aurora Diagnostics LMC Pathology Services (ADX LMC) gastrointestinal and hepatic pathology service offers diagnostic expertise through interpretation of mucosal
and core biopsies and fine needle aspirations. Their expertise encompasses a wide range of conditions that include inflammatory bowel disease, gastric ulcer disease, hepatitis, and neoplasms of the gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary tract.

The ADX LMC gastrointestinal and hepatic pathology service incorporates the use of cutting edge molecular and immunohistochemical diagnostics that assists the patient’s gastroenterologist and oncologist with the most up to date and effective treatment and therapies.

The ADX LMC gastrointestinal and hepatic pathology service is made up of three fellowship-trained physicians: Dr. Yumiaco,
Dr. Winn and Dr. Golden have all received their fellowship training at world renown academic centers that incl ude UCLA, Brown and Harvard University. Dr. Yumiaco is the director of the Gastrointestinal Pathology service. Our GI pathologists provide timely and accurate biopsy results and are available for consultation on difficult biopsies. They have gained the respect of local and regional gastroenterologists. Our pathologist participate in several GI pathology teaching conferences as part of local Gastroenterology Fellowship training programs.
